Technique: Acrylic on silk

Inspired by the geometric designs of the ancient Huari culture in Peru, this rhythmic and dynamic piece was painted on silk by applying layers of gold and silver metallic paints. The transparency and luminosity of the sheer silk allow the viewer to see through the first layer and find a mirrored image on the second surface.
